Young Eagle and a lieutenant scout the trail to track down the perpetrators, discovering that a gang led by a man named Deuce has taken over an abandoned ghost town and slag piles near an old smelter. Deuce plans to use the location as headquarters for their criminal operation, but Young Eagle works to expose and stop the gang's scheme before they can continue their railroad fraud.
