This anthology issue contains at least two romance stories. "The Loneliness" follows a woman reporter who falls in love with Howard, a wealthy bank president's son, but he confesses he is broke and has never proposed marriage, causing her to question whether to leave her small hometown for an uncertain future with him. A second story depicts a female reporter who rushes into a burning building to rescue a trapped woman during a structural collapse, nearly losing her own life in the process.
