Young Lovers #16

A young woman named Carol insists on having everything her own way, rejecting her boyfriend Phil's advice and preferences, including his suggestion for blue drapes in their home. When Phil leaves town after a disagreement, Carol realizes too late that she has driven away the man she loves through her stubborn independence. In the story's conclusion, Carol attempts to reunite with Pete (also called Phil), finding him working at his auto supply store in Bellville, and resolves to tell him she has been wrong and that she loves him, hoping it is not too late.
