This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "Buy Me That Man!" follows a woman who poses a romantic ultimatum to her boyfriend Jeff, a pilot, asking him to directly tell her he loves her; after a plane crash brings them together, Jeff seizes the opportunity to propose and they cable news of their marriage. "Portrait of a Lady" depicts an artist named V.J. who becomes obsessed with painting Dana, a woman he loves, and the story references a famous portrait from a museum that began years earlier.
