Young Romance #68
This issue contains two romance stories. "He Called Me High Class Trash" depicts a conflict between a man named Joe and a woman named Ellen at what appears to be a camping site, where Joe accuses Ellen of being "no good" for him and tells her to leave his life. In the second story, "Bought!", a man named Larry becomes engaged to a wealthy woman named Marion Baker after dating a poor girl named Ruthie, but realizes his mistake when Marion proves to be materialistic and unfaithful, ultimately choosing to pursue Ruthie instead despite her humble circumstances. The stories explore themes of class differences and true love versus superficial attraction in 1950s romance fiction.
