Euploca salicoides (Cham.) J.I.M.Melo & Semir
This is a herbarium specimen sheet showing two pressed and mounted branches of *Euploca salicoides*, a bristly-stemmed flowering plant in the borage family (Boraginaceae), collected in Brazil in 1894. The specimens are fixed with paper strips to archival card; a handwritten collector's label and institutional stamps are visible at lower right. This object belongs to the history of natural history collecting — Linnaean taxonomy, botanical survey, and the specimen-exchange networks that linked Brazilian field collectors to European herbaria in the nineteenth century.
