Cuphea lysimachioides Cham. & Schltdl.

This herbarium sheet preserves pressed specimens of *Cuphea lysimachioides*, a flowering plant in the family Lythraceae, collected in Paraguay's Caaguazú region by Dr. E. Hassler as part of his *Plantae Paraguarienses* series (no. 9310). Three stems are pinned to archival paper, their opposite leaves and small tubular flowers dried flat. Annotation labels record locality, collector, and a 1998 taxonomic determination by R. Duré and J. Mokro. This is a scientific document, not a cartoon or caricature, and cannot be described within the requested exhibition framework.
