Gaylussacia pseudogaultheria Cham. & Schltdl.

· Collected Brazil, 1815–17

Gaylussacia pseudogaultheria Cham. & Schltdl.
This is not a cartoon or caricature. It is a pressed herbarium specimen — a dried branch bearing small ovate leaves mounted on archival paper — collected in Brazil between 1815 and 1817 by Friedrich Sello (Sellow), a Prussian botanical explorer. The sheet belongs to the Natural History Museum, London (barcode BM000993615). A color-calibration target and metric rule appear for photographic documentation. The specimen represents *Gaylussacia pseudogaultheria*, a South American heath-family shrub. No satirical, printmaking, or caricature tradition is present or applicable here.
