Polypodium puberulum Schltdl. & Cham.

· Collected December 1907, determined 20 April 1939

Polypodium puberulum Schltdl. & Cham.
This is a pressed-fern herbarium specimen, not a political cartoon or caricature. The sheet shows two dried frond fragments of *Polypodium puberulum*, a Mexican fern, mounted on archival paper with a color-calibration chart, metric scale, and institutional labels from the Natural History Museum, London — formerly part of the Carl Frederik Albert Christensen herbarium (1872–1942), purchased by the British Museum between 1938 and 1947. Collected in Puebla, Mexico at Hacienda Nova. No satirical content, printmaking tradition, or caricature history is present or applicable. Writing a comic-art wall label for this object would be factually false.
