· Collected 1897–1900; determined 1995

Galianthe centranthoides (Cham. & Schltdl.) Cabral
This is a herbarium voucher sheet, not a cartoon or caricature. It shows pressed, dried specimens of *Galianthe centranthoides*, a Rubiaceae shrub native to central Paraguay, mounted on archival paper with white tape strips. Multiple branches display opposite lanceolate leaves and compound cymose inflorescences. Collector labels identify Dr. E. Hassler's *Plantae Paraguarienses* expeditions (nos. 3314, 6516, 6976); two ISO TYPE SPECIMEN stamps confirm taxonomic authority. A color-calibration chart sits upper right for photographic reproduction. No satirical content, printmaking tradition, or caricature is present. This object belongs to natural history documentation, not the Hogarth-to-Nast lineage of print satire from which comics descend.
