From the exhibition
Lindenbergia philippensis (Cham.) Benth.
· Collected 1841, Philippines

This is a pressed botanical herbarium specimen, not a political cartoon or caricature. The sheet displays dried stems, serrated leaves, and flowering racemes of *Lindenbergia philippensis*, a plant in the family Orobanchaceae, collected in the Philippines in 1841 during the Cuming expedition. It bears Natural History Museum accession labels, a color-calibration chart, a metric scale bar, and a handwritten isotype determination by M. Hjertson (1993). No satirical content, printmaking tradition, or caricature is present. Writing a comic-art wall label for this object would require fabricating a subject, target, and artistic context that do not exist. I can accurately catalog this as a scientific natural history document instead.
