Spiranthes romanzoffiana Cham. & Schltdl.

This herbarium sheet preserves pressed specimens of *Spiranthes romanzoffiana* (Irish Lady's-tresses), a rare terrestrial orchid. Three dried plants occupy the upper sheet, their spiral flower spikes and strap-like leaves flattened and browned with age. A fourth specimen fills the lower sheet. Handwritten labels record two Cork localities — Castletown, Berehaven (August 1891, collected by J. Leitch of Schletté) and a site near the Bandon River (1873, J. Allin) — both annotated *New Station*, signalling a botanist's excitement at extending the species' known Irish range. Bequeathed in 1938 from the Herb. F. J. Hanbury, the sheets bear Natural History Museum, London accession numbers.
