From the exhibition

Aloysia lycioides var. lycioides Cham.

· Collected 1881, mounted specimen

Aloysia lycioides var. lycioides Cham.
This is a herbarium specimen sheet — a pressed and dried botanical plant sample — not a cartoon or caricature. The mounted specimen shows branching stems with small leaves and flower spikes characteristic of *Aloysia lycioides*, a shrub in the verbena family native to South America. Labels identify it as an isotype collected in Paraguay by B. Balansa. No satirical, narrative, or caricature content is present. A wall label for a print-satire exhibition cannot honestly be written for this object. To proceed accurately: this belongs in a natural history or botanical art context, not a comics lineage exhibition.
